Vehicle Requirements:

• OEM keyless entry is required.
• OEM hood switch is required –
  TESTING FOR OEM HOOD SWITCH: Open your hood and turn your ignition on. The instrument cluster will show “hood open” if the switch is present. OEM hood pins are available from Ford dealers. Typically it’s plugged it into to harness and mounts in factory location.
• Remote start will not function if “check engine” light is on.
• Remote start will not function if “low fuel” light is on.
• Remote start will not function if hood or doors are open.

System Features:

• INSTALL IN LESS THAN 30-MINUTES! (for basic remote start operation).
• A quick install guide is included in the box. Any additional information or extended instructions will be in the ‘downloads’ section of your account.
• Press Lock 3 times in 5 seconds to start or stop (using factory remote). You can also program the system for “no honk” Lock-Unlock-Lock start.
• Valet mode disables remote start while servicing or when needed.
• Plug-in harness for basic remote start operation included. 2 Simple connections behind the glove box.
• Run time is set for 1 cycle of 15 minutes.
• Remote start activation range is limited by the factory remote. Make sure you can lock the doors from desired distance.
