Vehicle Compatibility:

• 1996-2002 4Runner Without Immobilizer Key – Automatic or Manual Transmission
• 1999-2002 4Runner With Immobilizer Key (Key has molded plastic head) – Automatic or Manual Transmission

System Features:

• All primary ignition switch connections are plug in – Full color install guide emailed to you when your system ships.
• Valet mode disables remote start while servicing or when needed.
• 100% plug in for basic remote start operation included.
• Parking light flash.
• Run time is set 15 minutes (Max is 35 min).
• Your cabin temperature will be at your last setting before exiting the vehicle last.

Vehicle & Installation Requirements:

• Must access the back of the ignition switch to plug in harness
• Several additional wire splices required based on desired functionality
  • Parking light flash (optional) – 1 wire
  • Immobilizer bypass (required if equipped) – 4 wires
    • Immobilizer keys were optional in 1999-2002 and have a plastic molded key head.
    • Solid metal keys are not immobilizer keys
  • Door lock/unlock control – 3 wires
  • Tach signal wire (optional but recommended) – 1 wire
  • Hood switch – 1 wire
  • Doors/hatch entry detection (optional) – 1 wire
  • Horn honk (optional) – 1 wire
